Our Puradies Organic Farm Embachhof

The scent of spring is in the air! The nature surrounding the Puradies in Leogang, on the sun plateau at 900 m, is coming back to life. You can feel the lively spirit of a fresh start especially well at the resort's Embachhof organic farm. Work in the house and on the farm begins once again. The result: peaceful togetherness, cuddles whenever possible and high-quality organic products from our own farming.

Traditional Farm at 900 Metres Above Sea Level

The history of the Embachhof organic farm dates back to the 17th century: the stately Pinzgau farmhouse, whose timeless, rustic construction radiates a sense of security and homeliness, already stood in the midst of the mighty Salzburg high mountains back then, providing people and animals with whatever the farm and the alpine meadows yielded. The years go by, yet the patient routine and the lively togetherness on the farm carry on. To this day. Now the superior hotel Puradies with its chalet village has grown up around the Embachhof. We continue the tradition of alpine farming and offer our guests, among other things, organic products from our own cultivation. Species-appropriate, loving animal husbandry is the be-all and end-all, as a harmonious cycle of giving and taking. In spring, the farm and all its animal residents truly come back to life. The hay barn gives off its incomparable scent, which mingles with that of the blossoming flowers. Now it's time to head out into the fresh air!

The Embachhof: Adorably Tame and Cuddly

What would a mountain farm be without its animals? They are what truly brings our traditional alpine farming at the Puradies to life and makes it so special. In the pasture of this idyllic farm, the dairy cows and their calves stand patiently, tirelessly plucking the juicy, aromatic alpine herbs that the open grazing land has to offer. They exude an incredible calm and gentleness that one always enjoys sharing in. Only when senior manager Sebastian Madreiter steps up to the fence in his rubber boots does the little herd start to stir. After all, none of them wants to miss out on little treats and cuddles. Our lively goats and sheep are also delighted to receive loving attention. Children particularly enjoy the Embachhof's petting zoo, where little bunnies and piglets frolic about and curiously stretch their little noses towards every petting hand. Just like us humans, they enjoy the days growing warmer and are happy about the freshly sprouting grass.

Organic Products From Our Own Farming

With spring, things get busy on the farm again and work in the house and on the farm begins. Even though the world is becoming more and more modern, the traditional work here remains the same, whether milking the cows, making hay or collecting the freshly laid eggs. Farm work is still a demanding daily routine, but the experiences that arise here are all the more intense and valuable. The rustic Embachhof lies in the midst of the idyllic Salzburg high mountains and is fed by clear, refreshing mountain spring water. The altitude, the sun-drenched location, the aromatic alpine herbs with their many nutrients, the quality of the water and the organic farming without artificial fertilisers are reflected in the products: fresh eggs, meat, vegetables and fruit from the Embachhof, together with ingredients from selected regional partner businesses, end up on our tables. It is simply worth focusing on what nature provides. An honest, traditional way of life combined with the highest level of comfort at the Puradies.

Our Embachhof organic farm at the xunqerzavix.livees to life in spring and shows once again that quality of life and happiness lie hidden in the harmony between people and animals.
