Sleeping Like in Paradise – Why You Sleep More Deeply in Leogang Than at Home
There is one moment in the evening that many of our guests describe: the window slightly open, absolute silence outside, and somewhere between the last thought of the day and the first dream, you fall asleep – more deeply than you are used to at home. That's no coincidence. It's the location.
The Puradies lies car-free on a sun plateau above Leogang. No through traffic, no neighbouring houses, no street lighting shining through the curtains. Just mountains, forest and the kind of darkness you rarely experience within your own four walls. People who sleep badly usually don't do so because they lack tiredness, but because their mind can't settle. And this place is made for exactly that.
What Disturbs Sleep in Everyday Life – and Why It's Different Here
Light, noise and a head full of unfinished tasks are the three biggest sleep thieves of everyday life. In Leogang, what works against you at home automatically disappears: no street noise, no light pollution, hardly any stimuli to disturb your peace. Then there is the altitude: for many of our guests, the clear, cool mountain air at around 900 metres makes a noticeable difference compared with the city climate – often from the very first night.
The natural day-night rhythm also plays a role: without artificial light and without the constant level of stimulation of everyday life, your internal clock resets itself – usually faster than you might think.
The Place Itself Works for Your Recovery
Our rooms, suites and chalets are deliberately pared back: natural materials, lots of wood, no visual noise. Blackout, tranquillity and an unobstructed view of the mountains are not extras, but standard.
If you stay in the Private Spa Chalet, you also have your own sauna and terrace for an evening completely free of distractions – taking retreat to another level. The chalet overview gives you a summary of all categories.

The Heaven Spa as a Pre-Bedtime Ritual
Good sleep doesn't just begin in bed. An evening in the Heaven Spa – whether in the water world or in the adults-only sauna house with its four themed saunas – acts as a gentle transition from day to night. The warmth of the sauna and the subsequent cool-down provide a natural relaxation stimulus that signals to the body: now it's time to let go. If you like, you can then round off the evening in one of the relaxation islands or cuddle nooks with a view of the Steinberge, rather than moving straight on to the next item on the agenda.
You can find out more about the saunas, water world and relaxation areas on the Heaven Spa page.

An Evening at Your Own Pace
What really promotes good sleep is less about the number of courses at dinner and more about the pace: are you eating to fill up, or is the evening allowed to take its time? For us, that means enjoying the evening menu in the hotel restaurant at leisure, without time pressure, without screens, with a view of the garden or the mountains. If you pay particular attention to restful sleep, you can deliberately choose a lighter course or skip one or two items on the programme – after all, here everything is possible and nothing is a must.
A non-alcoholic drink at the Bar Freiraum makes for a mindful way to end the day – kept short and without the expectation of a long night.

More Than a Trend
What is now often summed up under the term longevity – restful sleep, exercise in nature, mindful breaks from everyday life – has been part of everyday life here for a long time. We need no diagnostics and no devices to help you sleep better. All it takes is the right location, true silence and a little time.
Cooler, more oxygen-rich air, less noise and light pollution, and a more natural day-night rhythm have a proven positive effect on sleep quality.
Leogang is located at around 800 meters above sea level, with Puradies on its own plateau slightly higher, with an unobstructed view of the Steinberge.
Yes. The entire resort is car-free and without through traffic, located on its own plateau. Here, quiet isn't a room category, but the location itself.
The pool areas are open daily from 07:00 to 20:00, the Adults Only sauna house in summer from 14:00 to 21:00 and in winter from 11:00 to 21:00.
